Architectural Design Manager: develop and implement architectural designs and Virtual Design practices and standards on commercial construction projects; develop policies and procedures for project management; confer and act as the central hub for design coordination working with architectural designers, project managers, executives, architects, engineers, designers and subcontractors to discuss and resolve constructability and design issues; study construction documents; analyze and approve changes to construction design documents; consult with executives and make recommendations for resource allocation; prepare and present design proposals to clients and relevant third parties; use computer-aided design and relevant software; help prepare budgets and ensure projects come within budget and deadlines; oversee the drafting of detailed workings, drawings and specifications; prepare tender applications and make related presentations; negotiate with contractors and other professionals; review applications for planning and building control departments; confirm the nature and quality of materials required are appropriate for the objectives; ensure the environmental impact of the project is managed; create deadlines and schedules; confirm project compliance with quality, safety and budget and implement necessary changes; resolve issues with the work performed by staff and third parties; supervise a subordinate Interior Designer and control this position's hiring, training and retention matters; and keep abreast of changes and innovations in the industry and field. A U.S. Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Architecture, Architectural Design or Construction Management is required. One year of experience as an Architectural Designer, Designer or Architect is required. Mon-Fri; 40 hrs./wk.
